Babies & Toddlers

Our Baby Unit consists of 2 rooms, which are divided into babies and toddlers. The children have a variety of activities to do and toys to
play with throughout the day. They are well catered for by our qualified and experienced staff who are only too willing to ensure
your child is cared for and comfortble throughout the day.

The children have daily diaries, which staff fill in, to
show parents exactly what their child has achieved
during the day. This includes food they have eaten,
nappy change times and daily achievements and
activities.

We have a separate room for 2 year old children. We call these children Infants. There are more group-lead activities including singing and dancing, water and sand play and a variety of toys which cover the areas of learning. These activities are carried out to help them prepare for Pre-School
 
We work alongside the ‘Early Years Foundation Stage’ framework, to support children in their earliest years. We use 'Learning Stories' to celebrate each child’s special moments. Observations are regularly carried out to assess their progress.
